Yes, I'm an environmentalist.
No, I'm no extremist,
Just a realist.
"What's real?" you ask.
So glad you asked
Because I was contemplating
Elaborating
With or without permission.

Reality is...

tree lined streets
in big city limits
cluttered with rubbish;
and, symptomatically,
a woodland creature
quite out of his habitat
crushed by man's industry
and trash.

Grave sounding?
Perhaps.
But that is reality.
Love it,
Or change it.
No, I'm no extremist,
But I am a radical.
